• How to open multiple modules in the same workspace?

Open the first module / project. Select File -> Project Structure -> Modules.

Select Copy (icon) and open Browse your local directory and select the project you would like to add. Module name will resolve automatically.

When you want to reopen to project with multiple sub-projects, in order to avoid re-doing steps as described above, just go to File -> Open Recent -> 'Your Big Project'.
